The Carter Twins EP hits online stores tomorrow, Nov. 3rd, and it’s just been announced that the music video for “Let It Snow” is set to debut Thanksgiving weekend.
The Carter Twins will release a 4-track EP tomorrow, Nov. 3. CARTER TWINS – EP features their hit “Hear Like Memphis” and three new tracks. The Carter Twins have also recorded Let it Snow for A VERY SPECIAL CHRISTMAS VOLUME 7, benefiting Special Olympics. Their video for the track will debut Thanksgiving weekend.
The three new songs, “Wish I would’ve Kissed Her”, “Photo booth”, and “So What” were co-written by the twins, Zach and Josh Carter, and some of Nashville’s hottest writers such as Charles Kelly and Dave Haywood from Lady Antebellum, Tia Sillers (“I Hope You Can Dance”) and Liz Rose (co-writer on many Taylor Swift hits).
When the Carters were asked to pick a track to record for A VERY SPECIAL CHRISTMAS VOLUME 7 benefitting Special Olympics, they decided on Let It Snow, because of the seasonal but timeless nature of the lyrics. “We were so honored to be in the company of artists like Bono, Sheryl Crow and Alan Jackson who have contributed songs to the A Very Special Christmas series of albums,” said Zach. “Our challenge was to record give a new spin to a track that everyone knows,” reported Josh. Their version, produced by Frank Rogers, is warm and modern, a perfect track for country and pop music fans, and a great Christmas song. The Carter Twins video for the track will debut this month.
